Some Kinda Wonderful

April showers bring May flowers

Well...another week has passed and it was so nice!!  Two days in the 80's! WOOHOO.  Today however, I woke to cloudy sky's and much cooler temps.  This week the highs will only be in the 60's.  But that's okay!  I'll take that over snow and cold any day.  The trees are all blooming and the flowers are out and about.  It's soooooo much nicer!  I'm enjoying this weather so much.  I planted pansies out front and cleaned up the back porch downstairs to, moving all the firewood  to one side of the porch, adding the firewood holder and then re-stacking all the firewood again.  What a pain, but it looks really nice and clean.  I told Rob that we really need to build the flower bed up and add more dirt so I'm hoping we can do that soon!  I also have a picket fence that I'm adding to divide the flower beds.  It looks so cute.  When I'm done, I'll add before and after pictures.  In the mean time, here's a couple of picture of spring around my neighborhood

Trying so hard...

To get back into scrapping.  Maybe I'm pushing a little to hard.  I can't seem to get into it.  I don't know what my "problem" is.  (is it a problem)?  All I know is that I'm wondering if I'll ever get my mojo back.  I just don't care right now.  I NEVER thought I'd be in this position.  I've been scrapping for 9 years and I've never felt this way before.  <heavy sigh>  I did buy a new book...and I am so loving this book!!  I got Scrapbook Page Maps bye Becky Fleck.  It's such a great book and has so many great layout ideas.  Plus, it has the coolest cards in the back that you can have laying out while you're scrapping instead of having this book sitting out.  I love that you can refer to these with out taking up half of your work area with a book or magazine.  Great buy for anyone that loves layout ideas.  Such beautiful work in there too! 

Just wanted to give a shout out to my friend Aleida, I'm thinking of you!  And Barbara..you better be reading that book!  I know you guys are going to LOVE it...maybe you should change your book club this month and have all three books for the month.  You'll never be able to stop on the first one.  LOL...Take care all!

New Begining

Well, today is Rob's first day of the new job. He left this morning at 7:30 and he just called me (on a break) and said that he's downtown looking at the Capital building.  He said his office is HUGE.  LOL...I had to laugh.  I asked him if he was liking it so far and he said yes, but there's a lot to learn.  I'm hoping that he's going to love this as much as he did his last job.  Being in charge of several large buildings I'm sure isn't going to be easy, but if anyone can do it, I know he can.  I have so much faith and confidence in him that I'm not worried about him learning all his new duties.  It's not as much money as before, but heck...we get the BENNIES!!  Yeah.  That in itself will help so much.  Of course, you have the 3 month waiting period before they start, but at least we'll get them in July!  Then, I can use the "extra" money to start getting totally caught up.  YEAH!  Here's to new beginnings!

I'm so in love with these books!!

   Okay...I can NOT figure out what is wrong with me... I have read and re-read The books Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse   and I can't get enough of them!  I actually bought Twilight on audio and rented New Moon from the library.  I then ripped them both to my computer and loaded them to my i-pod!  I have ordered Eclipse from the library and can't wait to get that one and rip it to my ipod also.  I'm obsessed with these books.  What's even cooler...they're making them into movies!  WOOHOOOOOOOOOO  If you like to read, like a good "love" story and like things a little different.... You must read Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse!!  The fourth book will be out in August.  The Movie will be out in December.  Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will be playing the main parts.  Many of you will know Robert from Harry Potter movie, he was Cedric and was killed in the Goblet of Fire.  The Picture is "Bella and Edward"  (Kristen Stewar and Robert Pattingson)
